Choo Choo!!

Not to worry, we did catch our train!  I couldn't help but be excited at the train station...this was my very first train ride!  I wish it would have been when I was eleven and told I had magical powers, but a ride through Peru to Machu Picchu will have to do.

The actual ride was spectacular, unbelievable, incredible, marvelous, beautiful, breathtaking, amazing, peaceful...you get the picture.  But really, you can't even picture it.  The pictures we have don't do the scenery justice.  It's sad, but I can't even remember how beautiful it was.  All I know, is that I couldn't believe I was actually there.  It's surreal.

 The funniest part of the train ride was the snacks they gave us.  Complementary, I might add!  Although, they really weren't that wonderful.  The presentation was excellent, the food was...not as good as the presentation, but not bad :)

A small sandwich with a tiny piece of cheese and ham, an itty bitty crescent with chocolate and, of course, Inca Kola :)
