One Small Project Done

One of the first things we wanted to get done while we're here is get all of the supplies organized.  When we got here they were in a massive pile in one room and things were strewn all over the shelf.  We moved everything into one room and started by making piles...many, many piles.

It took many hours of organizing and reorganizing but we finally have the room set up as best we can.  There's enough stuff to fit on three or four bookcases so we took a mattress off a bed and use that as shelf space as well.  Another thing we're doing is inventorying all the supplies so the next interns know what's here and what to bring.  There are so many things they already had that we weren't aware of and we could have used our suitcase space and weight much more efficiently.

The kids always want to take things home (presumably to keep) so I took it upon myself to write "El Bichito" in every single book.  Sometimes it's so relaxing to do a repetitive task such as that.  It reminds me of the days I would stuff envelopes for hours at work.... oh Admissions office, I really do miss you.
